Project Description

Tea Processing is a very important industrial activity in India, which is a major producer, consumer and exporter of tea worldwide. Tea is a natural beverage brewed from the young leaves of an evergreen plant Camellia Sinensis. Tea gardens and tea industries are scattered in different parts of India. Tea is grown in few districts of Assam, West Bengal, Kerala, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu and partially in Tripura, Uttar Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh.
