Leveraging advanced technologies like artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML), these devices can perform a wide range of tasks, from streaming music and answering queries to controlling smart home devices and setting reminders, all through simple voice commands. Top players in the technology sector, including Amazon, Google, and Apple, have developed their own smart speakers – Echo, Google Home, and Home Pod, respectively – each equipped with a proprietary virtual assistant like Alexa, Google Assistant, or Siri.
