In recent times, changes in eating pattern and urbanization increased the demand for snack food. Snacks are not primarily consumed for their nutrition but now days more and more snacks are made with nutrition perspective. Producing a successful snack is a balance between consumer’s needs and interest versus manufacturer’s economics, quality control and production ability.
