Project Description

Carbon paper is a thin paper with a colored coating that is used to make copies of documents. It is typically placed between two sheets of paper, with the written page on top and the carbon paper underneath. The carbon paper picks up what is written on the top page and transfers it to the bottom page, creating a copy Carbon paper, a tissue of varying weight coated with a colour, generally carbon black, and some waxy medium. It is usually coated on one side but may be coated on both sides for special purposes. For duplication of typewritten or hand-printed documents, it is coated on one side only.
